This original artwork by Alice captures the stunning beauty of the funerary mask of Neb-Kheperu-Ra (also known as Tutankhamun).
“I was haunted by the beauty of this iconic golden mask,” said Alice, who saw the artefact for the first time while filming the series Ancient Egypt by Train for Channel 4 in 2022. “I wanted to understand how it had been made, all of its intricacies - and creating this digital painting meant studying it in minute detail. The gold and lapis lazuli are dazzling - but there’s much more here than just precious metal and stones. This is a real face - from nearly three and half thousand years ago.”
We are pleased to offer this as a fantastic Giclée print, in two sizes - each as a limited edition of 100 - signed and numbered by Alice. A must-have for any lover of art or archaeology.

LIMITED EDITION FOR SEPTEMBER 2025 ONLY
“This fragment of a Roman sculpture in the collections of the National Archaeological Museum of Tarragona caught my eye. It was discovered during excavations at the Cathedral - but it depicts an earlier deity. It’s Jupiter - but with a twist. Emerging from the god’s curly locks is a ram’s horn - a sign that this is also Ammon (Amun-Ra) - the supreme deity in the ancient Egyptian pantheon. It’s a beautiful example of syncretism and cultural fusion, slightly ravaged by the passage of time.”
